Gordie & Family, Growing up, Karen was a special friend to all of us, always giving moral support and helping all of us get through some of our teenage turmoil... As we grew up, we all tried to stay in touch, and as you know, you start raising a family and working and then you realize 10 yrs has past in a blink of an eye. Karen's illness brought a group of us girls back together. She created a bond with us back in the day that was in slumber and was awakended by the realization how precious time was today and how important friendship was. She had an effect on so many without even realizing it. I will always keep her in my heart and keep her spirit alive. I emailed over a picture of all of us girls. The picture is of all of us pregnant in 1989 starting our families (Kim decided to stay single). The picture left to right is Karen, Beth Driscoll, Sharon Mowry, Patty Blanchette, Laurie Marino and Kim Larson.
